Claim Yourself

Making a claim on your own

You don’t need to use a Claims Management Company to get your money back. If you feel confident doing it yourself, you can, and it can save you from paying a fee, too. Here’s our guide to help you do it.

Step 1
Complaining to your bank
Step 2
Complaining to FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service)

Take Note

If either you or the bank appeals to an Ombudsman, it is likely to cause significant delays, as there is a significant backlog of cases. If you’re successful in your appeal and you accept the Ombudsman’s final decision, the bank is legally obliged to comply with the outcome.

Help is on hand if you need it
