Shop Cooper Discoverer STT Pro Tires for Your Off-Road Build
When the route leads through mud, rocks, and rough trails, the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro is made for drivers who want an aggressive tire built around off-road capability. Cooper describes the STT Pro as an extreme off-road tire for remote destinations, with technologies designed to protect the tire and help clear mud and debris. Shop Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires at MR WHEELS TIRES and confirm the exact size fits your truck, Jeep, or SUV before checkout.
Ready to buy Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires online? Start with the full tire size on your sidewall and the wheel measurements for your vehicle. Load range, load index, actual diameter, section width, and approved rim-width range vary by size. The model name alone does not confirm clearance or fitment, especially on a lifted vehicle or a truck with aftermarket wheels.

Why Choose Cooper Discoverer STT Pro Tires?
The Discoverer STT Pro is engineered for challenging off-road terrain. Cooper’s Mud Slinger 2.0 design uses wide trenches and additional notches intended to clear thick mud from the tire. Earth Diggers technology features shoulder scoops and lugs for traction in mud, sand, or dirt. Rock Climber Sidewall technology adds cleats and flex grooves designed to grip uneven rock and help the tire power through obstacles.
Cooper also highlights Stone Armor technology to help protect against sharp rock and debris, and Armor Tek3 construction for tread and sidewall durability. These details are useful when comparing off-road tires for truck owners who routinely drive beyond graded roads.
The STT Pro is still a purpose-built off-road tire. Cooper uses tread features intended to help manage road noise and performance, but an aggressive tread can sound and feel different from an all-terrain or highway tire. If your vehicle spends most of its time commuting on pavement, compare your daily driving needs with the traction demands of your trails before selecting this model.
•Mud-clearing tread: Wide trenches and notches are designed to help move thick mud away from the contact area.
•Traction for loose terrain: Shoulder scoops and lugs are built for mud, sand, and dirt.
•Rock-oriented sidewall features: Sidewall cleats and flex grooves are intended to help on jagged surfaces.
•Debris protection: Stone Armor technology helps defend against damage from sharp rock and debris.
•Tread and sidewall durability: Armor Tek3 construction is designed for demanding off-road use.
The Cooper Discoverer STT Pro is not a dedicated winter tire. A tire that performs in mud and off-road conditions may not deliver the same grip on packed snow or ice as a tire designed for severe winter service. Check the markings on the exact size and consider your local road conditions before using it through winter.

Follow your vehicle manufacturer’s guidance for pressure and load, and have a qualified tire professional confirm compatibility with your wheel and vehicle.
Choose a Cooper Discoverer STT Pro Size That Fits
Searches such as “Cooper Discoverer STT Pro 35×12.50R17,” “Discoverer STT Pro LT285/70R17,” and “Cooper STT Pro 35×12.50R15” can help narrow your options. Buyers also search for Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires for sale, Cooper STT Pro tire prices, Cooper mud tires near me, and buy Discoverer STT Pro tires online. Search by size to find likely fitments, then verify the exact part number, load rating, and current availability.
Use this checklist before placing your order:
1.Match the wheel diameter. A tire built for a 17-inch rim will not fit a 20-inch wheel. Check the rim diameter and approved wheel-width range for the exact size.
2.Compare actual dimensions. Review overall diameter and section width against your fender, suspension, steering, and body clearance.
3.Confirm load capacity. Make sure the selected load range and load index meet your vehicle’s requirements for passengers, cargo, and towing.
4.Consider your vehicle setup. Lift height, wheel offset, suspension components, and fender clearance all affect whether a larger STT Pro fits without rubbing.
5.Think about pavement use. If you drive many highway miles, consider the noise and ride differences between an aggressive off-road tire and an all-terrain model.
6.Review the full cart. Confirm the exact model, size, quantity, current price, shipping estimate, and installation plan before paying.
Changing from the original tire size can affect ground clearance, steering, braking, and speedometer accuracy. A lift kit does not automatically guarantee fitment. If you have aftermarket wheels or suspension changes, ask a qualified tire professional to check the complete setup before installation.
